Setting that aside, for fans of British movies from the 1940s to the 1960s this is a must have.
This book lists the complete filmographies up to the 1970s of about a thousand well-known and not so well known British actors and actresses who appeared in films.
Sure there are omissions and this is not a comprehensive work, but never mind it's worth it for the ones who are listed.
The only drawback is that the book doesn't have photos of everyone, only about a quarter of them. This was a bit disappointing, but otherwise this is a must for anyone who is as interested in this period as I am.
