Seller's Description:
New. Size: 5x1x8; New. No dust jacket as issued. Brand New! Support Radical Independent Pacific Northwest Booksellers! Trade paperback (US). Glued binding. 816 p. Contains: Illustrations. Audience: General/trade. Filled with sex and violence--in and out of time and space--the three books of Illuminatus are only partly works of the imagination. They tackle all the cover-ups of our time--from who really shot the Kennedys to why there's a pyramid on a one-dollar bill.
I bought this on a recommendation. I now very much distrust my friends judgement. This story is rambling changing time, place and character perspective without so much as a paragraph break. And when I say "Time" I mean decades without a hint.
I gave it a couple hundred pages and will not waste any more time on this. I normally would donate a book I don't care for to the YMCA exchange. I love books and literally have only thrown in the trash 2 books in 50 years, the first was a book titled Dahlgren and now this one.
