This book was most helpful to me in my research of my ancestor, King Harold II. I knew, of course, that he was killed at the battle of Hastings in 1066, but tht was all that I knew about him and when I found out that he was my ancestor, I wanted to know more --and this book gave me more, much more. I learned his father's name as well as others of his family thus taking me back another generation or more. It was easy reading and i thoroughly enjoyed it.
