Excellent addition to the Green Rider Series. If you've read the others, then you must read this one. Sadly, the story is seen even less through the eyes of Karigan, but the characters have become even more interesting. Britian, as always, insures that there is lots of heartache and she seems to spar no one. The action is fairly constant and Karigan is making great strides toward becoming a Sword Master-- whether she realizes it or not. The book did have a feel of "part one" and "part two", to me. Right in the center of the book is a period of traveling or downtime where not a whole lot is going on, but just get through it because the story picks up. As far as Karigan's romance, a new character enters the story and you're lead to believe one thing, until the last two chapters and then suddenly, everything changes and we're left in shock and terribly excited for the next book! Hurry Kristian Britian! I cant wait!!!
