This intensely dramatic autobiography bears witness to the account of how God took a young half-starved boy and enabled him to stand strong for Jesus, braving horrific opposition and impossible odds. For more than thirty years, Liu Zhenying, also known as Brother Yun, has been committed to bringing the gospel of Christ to all of China. Hunted, imprisoned, beaten, tortured, and separated from his wife and children, Brother Yun shares his story of incredible pain and suffering--and of powerful miracles and great joy. Indepth, intense, insightful
This book is so detailed, that sometimes I remember the images for days at a time. It must have been very intense for the Heavenly Man while he was going through these things, and yet, he stuck with it to honor the Lord. He didn't give up. Very interesting. It's very humbling to me, and motivating.
