The authors have done a tremendous job of fleshing out the biblical account of Esther, Mordecai, and Xerxes and relating it to present day events in Israel. Although fiction, it often is more real life that real life if you know what I mean. Excellent historical fiction combined with insights applicable to current events in Iraq and Israel. You will love it, too.

A good read
This book is a sequel to "Hadassah: One Night with the King". It is different from the first book. It is based on the premise of what might have happened to Queen Esther. This one is more of a suspenseful mystery type, going back and forth from biblical times to the present. If you read the first book, and are interested in biblical history and what is taking place in the Middle East right now, you'll enjoy this book. It is worth reading.
