This is the 27th book I've read on Alexander Hamilton. I bought two more of these books for friends because: many books do a terrific job of telling his chronological story very well. However, this book tells you the profound affects and effects of what Hamilton did for the Union and the success of our country, and the influence on the world. Without a successful financial system, no form of government would survive. Our Constitution owes a big debt of gratitude fo Hamilton's wisdom and Washington's respectability from the public to give these new ideas a chance to prove themselves. Thanks!
