The women off to continuing education, though nothing ends up being anything like what they expected. They meet new friends with fascinating abilities and find interest in new and distracting young men. And the men to recover something that was stolen. If they can not recover one thing, it could mean the end of the world as we know it. But Rand Al'Thor wants nothing to do with that. He just wants to recover the other to save the life of one of his friends, though one the way, something is reveal about him that drives his friends away.
