I purchased this book on the strength of a previous collection of essays edited by Rose and his sociologist wife Hilary, "Alas Poor Darwin", and it did not disappoint. Here, he efficiently demolishes the so-called evolutionary psychologists while giving a pellucid and erudite account of the current state of neuroscience and its possible future. Highly recommended.
