This very well written, exciting historical book is based on scrupulous research and extensive documentation by the arthur. Fascinating and informative from start to finish. Echert is clearly an expert in this subject and each and every character actually lived and acted as discribed in this wonderful book.

Great Read
Any student of American History will find Eckert's writing enjoyable. His style is similar to Jeff Shara. The tale is engaging right from the start and is hard to put down. I am so thankful that I have discovered this writer.

Read the Book
Should be required reading in school systems. One of the best accounts of life on the early American frontier that has ever been written. Easy to read and very informative of little know American hero.
