Signed by both Dene Smuts and Paul Alberts on the certification label that is affixed on the opp-title page. In Afrikaans throughout. Presented to Rev. Allan Hendrickse-the controversial South African anti-apartheid politician-by the management of Ceres Fruit Growers Co-Op Ltd. The book has at some stage been subjected to damp storage. This has stained and warped some pages. The boards are covered in cloth. The spine is leathered. The leather of the spine has some light wear. Otherwise, the spine is smart. The boards have some storage marks but are otherwise placid and calm. The inside front cover, the front-pages have damp marks. The pages have wrinkling to the top corners. The gilded page trims gleam. Despite the damp wrinkling, the pages are by far clean, clear, confident, genial, congenial and contented. fk.
