The book measures 7.5" x 5" and it has 179 pages + 10 pages of prelims + the publishers 32 page 1897 catalogue at the rear. By the author of 'Made In Germany', this book was written because of his concerns over Agricultural Imports affecting the British Farmer and the British Economy. In this book he deals controversially with protectionism in Agriculture and his enthusiasm for Co-Operatives. The covers are stained and there is sellotape residue. Ex library from The Edinborough School Of Agriculture, presented to them by Emeritus Prof. Robert Wallace with his signature. There is a library bookplate on the inside front cover, and 2 small library stamps, one on the half title page and one on title page. The binding is tight and sound, the endpapers have browned slightly, the contents are very clean. G+
