The attempt is to connect the past and present and let the already printed arguments hold the water. The unlegislated rules regarding turkey hunting have already been written once, and he sees no reason to reword them in credit of himself. It would do all of us modern day turkey hunters a bit of good to review the thoughts of past generation turkey hunters. Besides, a few things they used to do just may have been better.
