Interesting concepts. I think there are too many embedded interests to allow this to be enacted into law... but we can hope

Top notch
This book is incredible! I heard so many negative comments about the Fair Tax, I had to find out what was going on. Well the negative comments were false. People are saying what they think without any facts. Get the book and be knowledgeable!

The Fair Tax - An Open Tax
This book was sent as a loan to a local Congressional office. It outlines what I wanted to say to my Congressperson.
I am in favor of the fair tax as opposed to the monstrosity of volumes of tax code currently burdening the poor while offering all kinds of exemptions and loopholes for the wealthy.
With the fair tax, there would be no more hidden taxes. Even dirty money would be forced to pay taxes when it was used to buy a product.
I can understand how Jay Rockefeller with millions in exemptions and loopholes determined by his many accountants might not think it such a fair tax. I, however, do think it is good and simple and everyone pays according to their means and needs. If Jay buys an airplane, he pays a big tax. If I buy a tricycle, I pay a small tax. It works for me. One does not pay taxes on what one does not buy~!

must reading
For anyone interested in trying to remedy the terrible tax system we now have, this is a must reading. It makes a lot of sense. It is a much fairer way for the federal government to get tax revenue.
