It is also witnesses to how sophisticated 21st century people, people minding their own business are compelled to accept the fact that vampires exist. As they go forward it details the challenges they experience in agreeing to protect the secret of their existence from becoming public knowledge, all the while tracking down and destroying the creatures wherever they turn up.
