Eventhough written way back in 1961 of which the copy I have was reprinted recently, Itten's perception principles are still valid for all visual artists even if a little outdated due to technological and scientific advances. Given what I have read here I must read his similar small publication "Design Princilpes"(title?) and his major opus from which "the Elements of Color" are a condenced version, "The Art of Color".
