We borrowed this book from the library for my then 5 year old daughter and she loved it. Her latest hobby is unicorns and she loves to read so I bought her this book for her 6th birthday so she could keep it in her "library". This book has a great message about protecting the environment without being "preachy" and the illustrations (also by the author) are remarkable. Wonderful book to keep in a home library.
