Bookplate removed from front pastedowns, spines slightly cocked a bit with ends lightly rubbed, gilt-stamped spine titles tarnished, very good being the Pulitzer Prize winning Twentieth Century historian and author Bernadotte E. Schmitt's set inscribed to him from "Ralph" on the front endpapers of both volumes, lacking the scarce dustwrappers. The British Royal Navy in World War I.
