Roy Ward Baker is one of Britains most accomplished film directors. He worked in London's Gainsborough Studio in the 1930s, rising through the ranks of the industry to become assistant director to Alfred Hitchcock and Carol Reed. He later directed features both in Britain and Hollywood, including "Don't Bother to Knock "and "A Night to Remember." This is his memoir of 60 years in film and television.
