Excellent Book - Philosophy / Politics / Ethics
Chas. Sherover was my philosophy professor many years ago. I was primarily attracted to political philosophy & he was an excellent instructor & unique individual. His book is a collection of those writings that describe the evolution of the democratic ideal. I miss those afternoons & evenings. I'd hoped to re-visit the ideas and structures by buying another un-marked copy of his book.
I recommend highly this book and its course of instruction, particularly given the rise of 21st century pseudo-democracies and internet laden disingenuousness posing as popular democracy.
