My human development instructor assigned this textbook for our graduate level class. In all my years of school I think this may be the best textbook I've ever used, and not necessarily because of the information. Berger explains everything so well; there are pictures, anecdotes and sidebars wiith career specific questions that add to the overall effect. She uses personal stories to demonstrate ideas and case studies for consideration. I've found it to be incredibly user friendly and interesting, too. I commented on it to the instructor and he said he agrees and in all the years he's been teaching human development this has been the best book to use, especially with the revision and new material.
