Small spot on the front end-paper. Some softness to spine ends but little or no wear elsewhere. An area of fading to the red-top-stain. Equally attractive unclipped first state, (laminated), dust-jacket, ($2.00), has a touch of wear to the crown with a miniscule nick and a touch of soiling to the rear panel. Fresh and bright with no creases or tears. John Coleman Burroughs designed the jacket, the frontispiece, and 22 chapter head pieces. A simply gorgeous collectable copy.
