This is a wonderful book for seeing different kinds of dolls and getting some very basic information on kinds and backgrounds. However, it seems to be based on the author's personal collection and doesn't give sufficient information about how her collection compares, represents or otherwise provides a basis for understanding Collecting Black Dolls.
