The author's words, connect with the reader, and soon enough, they are emotionally attached to the characters in the novel. Not only does this novel let you escape your stressful world for awhile, it makes you think in a fun exciting way, using clues and past knowledge to help you figure out what is going on. And just when you think you've got it, a huge plot twist occurs, throwing you off your path, making the novel even more exciting to read.
