Light to moderate rubbed areas to front cover. Spine caps are worn through to cloth. A 2" closed tear runs down front side of spine beginning at the top. Board edges are shelf worn. Gilt lettering on spine with thin, double-line gilt rules on head and foot. Maroon leather-like, cloth-covered boards have triple-ruled, in-blind framing. Thumb-tab dividers on fore-edge. 1, 131 pp with Table of Abbreviations. The Second Edition has been carefully revised and includes approximately two thousand additional words and definitions.
