I was looking forward to this 3rd book in the Wulf brothers series. What a disappointment! There was no character development of Gabriel Wulf and Amelia and consequently I could not get behind these characters. At least give us something about Gabriel other than 'he was cursed' 'his curse lead him to lead a solitary, lonely life' This was not enough for me to have feelings for Gabriel. I think the servant girl Mora had more development. Amelia, the love interest was flat and boring and she was much more interesting in book 2 - but not in this story. Yet every so many chapters the author would summerize their feelings by saying Gabriel loved 'her sense of humor' or 'she was determined.' LIP SERVICE! There was no spark, heat or feelings conveyed to me between these characters. The plot was very simple - shapeshifters were chasing them for some reason. It got exciting towards the end but only for a chapter. The author seemed to really bring emotions out THEN! There seemed to be some meat on Gabriel and Amelia! But then everything fizzled and it was over in a chapter. There was too much repetition of brief phrases describing their feelings, and the fact that they were running constantly to get to Wulfglen. I felt that this 3rd instalment was a cursed story and I hope we are out of brothers now!
