With each book of the Starbridge trilogy I have thought the next one couldn't be any better, but each time I began the next one I was proved wrong. Just like The Soldiers of Paradise and Sugar Rain, The Cult of Loving Kindness is richly beautiful and features characters that are both incredibly human and strangely wonderful, as well as deeply flawed and yet endearing. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of fantasy and sci-fi.
