Terrific book!!

I have read more than a few of Forstchen's books, but this book and its companion, The Crystal Warriors, are two of the best I have ever read!
They're gritty, realistic, engaging and wonderfully imaginative. You owe it to yourself to read these books! Just FYI, I am a female, and even though these books are about soldiers and war, they're absolutely readable by either gender.
