The front and back covers have a logo with the words "The Schonberg Cotta Books" No author is identified, other than, "by the author of The Chronicles of the Schonberg Cotta Family", which is Elizabeth Charles. Previous owner's name on endpapers. Frontis shows road to Bethlehem scene(? ) This book has been well-used over the past 125 years and it shows on the cover with stains marks and bumping. Similarly inside, a number of pages are loose, the binding, though still holding, is opening and there is staining and some foxing. That said, all the pages are here and this would make an excellent reading copy if handled with care. 426 pp plus ads.
