The broad-tail'd Shaker, and the narrowtail'd Shaker: The reafon which is allign'd for calling them Shakers, is, becaufe they are almolt conilant in wagging their Heads and Necks up and down; and the Dillinction made between the broad and na'rrow-tail'd Shaker, is becaufe the broad-tail'd fort abounds with Tail Feathers, about 26 in number, as Mr. Ray obferves, and the narrow-tail'd Shakers have fewer in number. There, when they walk, carry their Tail Feathers ere???'t, and fpread abroad like'a turkey-cock. They likewife have diverfity of Feathers.
