I read and followed the suggestions in this book back in 1990. Literally, it changed my outlook on life! It has been great being able to revisit and once more apply her wisdom and suggestions. After 21 years of working as a frugal person, now retired, I can say that you will not regret it.

The ideas are great though some are beyond what I would consider doing. Because it was written in the early/mid 90's, sources are given with addresses or phone #'s. Each time I ran across that, it was kind of a shock because I source everything on the internet.

Fun and Informative!
I had high hopes for this book, and I definitely was not disappointed. The style is fun- downright entertaining- and the tips are fantastic. I especially liked the sections made up of letters from readers: "what to do with..." and other ways to save a little. Definitely worth purchasing!

The Best Book to Help Tighten Your Spending
If you are looking for ways to cut back on your spending, then this is the book to read. There are so many wonderful and helpful frugal tips in this book.
Don't be overwhelmed by the size of this book. From cover to cover it is by far the best money-saving, organizing, and frugal purchase on the market.
