"Henry VI, Part 2 keeps its audience in suspense about the ultimate fate of the king by ending as it does at the beginning of the Wars of the Roses. . . The outcome of these wars will be presented in Henry VI, Part 3" (Mowat, xvii). Resolution will have to wait.
