Seller's Description:
Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
This book really covers so much you may want to know about crochet! The book as a brief history of crochet, basics of crochet, several stitch patterns, granny squares, Tunisian crochet, tapestry, intermeshing crochet, burges lace, hairpin lace, broomstick lace, overlay crochet, free form, and more!
I got this book for the stitch patterns with crochet chart/diagrams. All the stitch patterns have a photo of the crochet pattern, stitch charts, and pattern text to help with each stitch. There are a variety of stitch patterns to choose from with lacy vs. solid and one color vs. multicolored. There are also a few project patterns scattered throughout the book as well.
There is a second addition to this book. I haven't looked at it, but I have read that the second addition has more project patterns to follow, but at a sacrifice of some of the crochet technique parts and/or stitch patterns. If you are after more projects patterns, get the second addition. If you are like me, and want more stitch patterns and techniques, get the original. This book is worth it!
