I received the 2007 5th edition. After the Foreword, all photographs are in colour, and of high quality. The book would appear to be an English translation from Dutch (not surprising as its author was a Dutchman who died late 90's), substantiated by the word "stinken" on page 40 that got overlooked during translation. "Stinken" is Dutch for: stink; bad smell; smell, and, unsurprisingly, the words following 'stinken' read, "Those engines do not smell..." The translation could have benefited from editing by an Englishman (or woman), given I counted 33 errors in the first 120 pages. Many makes are covered, including those we've never heard of, but a strange omission is the French car Ballot, a maker of fine cars from 1921 - 1932 when the company was acquired by Hispano-Suiza.
