This is a beginner's book. You can use it even if you know nothing about music or the banjo. The first half of the book teaches accompaniment, the second half teaches lead or melody playing. Seller's Description:
Very good oversize tall pictorial stiff wraps with strong spine and clean text throughout. An excellent guide with sheet music. From a musician's library with his small stamped name to inside cover.
This is a great teaching tool if you want to learn how to play a banjo. You get 77 tracks on a CD that you can play along with again and again to help teach yourself. Each track has the accompanying 77 music scores and is keyed to the music so that you can easily find it when you want it. I bought 11 books, but this one was the best one to help yourself learn how to play because of the enclosed CD with 77 tracks. The CD even helps you tune your banjo, so it is very handy to have around. The price was very reasonable also.
