Can change your life!
I first read this book when I was in my late 20's. Now at 65, I have been writing a memior under the heading "Books that Directed My Life" and I recalled I no longer had a copy of this book. I credit this author for giving me the space to survive within the organized church. I have been a faithfull 'protest-ant' even within my own Protestents for all my life. This author simple said to me: "It is very simple to love God and love others. All the rest the 'church' tries to pile onto all that is mostly unnecessary. It is that simple." I live my life in that cheerful faith today. Faith-based people will understand it best and be challenged.
