Fourteen children call The Camp their home, but it is not the type of home the orphans had dreamed about. Held captive by two women, known by the children as The Wardens, they are consistently subjected to abuse and hate, and only survive by the love they have for each other. The grounds of their home is surrounded by a tall electric fence, which makes their disheveled lifestyle inescapable.
