Are you part of the business world and feel that you are paying too high of a price in your personal life to succeed at work? Are you letting the business priorities define what is important in your life? Is your personal life hindering your success at work? The Business Apostolate will provide you with a fresh set of insights to help define your life's mission (your "apostolate"). It will enable you to live your "life journey" across your different personal and business roles. There are many lessons I have learned in my nearly three decades in business. Most of them come from the balancing act of being a dedicated husband and father, while simultaneously climbing the corporate ladder to positions such as general manager and marketing officer in Fortune 100 companies, living in five different countries, and interacting with multiple cultures for work as well as pleasure. It wasn't always smooth, but it has been a continuing process of adjusting and living my life in a manner increasingly consistent with my personal mission statement. In this book, I am grouping my life philosophy into three broad steps: Step1: Pilot Your Life: Be Accountable. Step 2: Chart Your Journey: Develop your mission. Step 3: Walk the Talk: Live your mission. This is not a book about religion, as the "Apostolate" title may imply, although I will highlight the benefits of continually feeding your soul.
