Discrimination has been an unshakeable stigma for the human civilization. It has successfully transformed all existing systems and institutions into malleable entities that exist to fulfill the perverse aims of those who assiduously preserve their privilege in society. Every society is familiar with some form of explicitly identifiable discrimination against its weaker groups. Discrimination in any manifestation is deleterious for those who have the misfortune of identifying with the vulnerable groups while immunizing those who do not. There are several variables that enable the concoction of a situation that is conducive for discriminatory practices out of which prejudiced outlooks based on race and gender are exceedingly common. However, these two are not the sole components of the petri dish of prejudice. Separate societies harbor malice for different communities which are then inculcated by revered institutions.
