This book was wonderful. Nicholas Christopher, hailed by Jim Carroll (author of The Basketball Diaries and various genius works of poetry) hailed him as one of his favorite authors/poets. When I heard this I immediately got my hands on The Bestiary. The imagination on this guy....the flow of his writing....all combined with a character that tugged on my heart. I will be purchasing more of Mr. Christopher's books, it was that good.
