There's many a tactile 303 purr and veritable payloads of precision-timed dropbeat vocal quips -- Return of the Living Acid's "Get Funky!" and the Circle of Souls' "Future Dreams" being the most elated examples -- but there's also an underlying seditious vibe to the whole thing. 2 Bad Mice's "Bombscare," a well-known prototype for acid-filtered jungle, points the way forward to a harder, tighter, more animalistic chapter in dance ethos, while Tecno-Flight 1, Altern 8, and LFO are all in place to prepare the public for later reconstructing evolutionists like the Chemical Brothers and Ed Case.
