I like this edition of Robert Burns a lot. Scots words that are unfamiliar to American readers are noted unobtrusively in the right margin. The eye can read the text without distraction, but the notes are also right there when needed.
It's also a nice sized trade paperback that feels good in my hands. High enough quality that its a pleasure to read; not so high that I'm afraid to dogear my favorite poems.
