I disagree with the opinion that this book is not scary at all. It is not his best collection because the stories are mostly dark enough to satisfy horror fans, but he has written scarier short stories than most of the ones featured in this book. But there are still enough really scary tales to prove that Stephen King can still chill and frighten readers who not only like his short stories, but are particularly pleased when they are TERRIFYING! The ones I like best are favorites specifically because they are among the creepiest: Milo 81 is among the longest stories of the collection, but you just might find it hard to find a more fearsome story in this book even if you DO find most of the stories pretty scary. Other shockers include: The Dune; Bad Little Kid; The Little Green God of Agony; and Under the Weather. The Bazaar of Bad Dreams is not the scariest collection of tales from the King of Horror, but it is still a terrific collection of short stories from a master storyteller! This is why I recommend it to all of his fans!

really good
Been a SK reader from the start. I like this one even though it is not scary or thought provoking, but it is good light weight entertainment. You have to know... it is easy to guess what the endings of each story are. I can hardly wait for a real scary one to come along. I keep hoping. I will always read his books. He has me, a fan for life.
