Review of The Autoharp Book
The book is well-named, as it is all about autoharps, with their history, and minute details about various American-made models through time. When I recently contacted reputable music stores and current autoharp companies, and one luthier about tracking down the ages of my four autoharps and two guitaros, they all referred me to this book. It did the trick. The book is so full of detail and photos regarding each Oscar Schmidt, Zimmerman, and other autoharps that I was able to identify the models I have and narrow their years of manufacture to just a few years. A very good autoharp reference book.
