This book is about Coolidge's early years. Straightforward and well written. I ordered it after a squib in the Wall Street Journal noted it was without the spin so common in today's political descriptions and because my greatgrandfather lived in the same small town in Vermont as Cal's father and knew Calvin as a small boy. I even have a cousin who is a lot like Calvin Coolidge; he's a New Hampshireman and says very little but every word he says and writes contributes to his thought.
I recommend this book to a person of any age those who want to write factual material to inform.
