A required reference for the Knot Tyer
This is rightfully considered the Bible of knots. Mr. Ashley not only illustrates each knot, but describes it's use and how it is tied. This may cause some confusion to the novice, saying, "bowline, weaver's knot, sheet bend? They're all the same!" and while they are, in form, they are not the same in the way they are tied or used. Mr. Ashley explains it clearly to the reader.
