Near Fine in Very Good jacket. Book. 8vo-over 7¾-9¾" tall. Original tan cloth hard covers, with gilt titles on red field to spine, in unclipped dust jacket. Jacket lightly toned and rubbed along edges, with tiny closed tear and some very shallow loss at extremities. Edges of text moderately toned. Owner's name, date and place to front endpaper: this was Canadian diplomat and literature professor Douglas Le Pan's copy. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat--a sound and handsome copy. Nine plates, as listed. 243pp.
