I bought this book because I was interested in hearing about "Adventure" basically what the title infers. I found that a lot of the book was not in fact about high adventrue but a lot of his childhood. In fact half of the book is dedicated to his experiences in Canada as a child. I understand that he is inferring that his rough childhood led him to be the guy he is today but dont think that he had to go into so much detail. Which brings me to the next gripe. There is an essential lack of detail and conclusion in ALL of the antedotes. I can handle the jumping around, but I just wish that he would have provided either, more backstory or more conclusion-it seems that a lot of the revlevance was lost. This all said though-I did like the bood overall, and read it fairly quickly. I can appreciate the style of a fellow adventurist. He is doing what I always wanted to do-Write down my adventures!
