Es un buen libre para quienes iniciamos en el área de pruebas de software. Bastante claro, es un buen libro para complementar un curso sobre este tema.

Dated but solid
This book is about testing software and was therefore guaranteed to be out of date by the time it was printed. Yes, computer software capabilities changes very fast but, the authors have made a very good effort to cover the basics of testing software. The tools for recording tests and for running tests have changed but the fundamentals have not. I read the book all the way through, skipping some details that had dated out of usefulness. Overall, I thought that the book was great for giving me ideas about how to set up my test group and test plan.

smart but easy
If it really is, as advertised, the best selling of all time, it is because it is pitched toward beginners in sw testing more than the classic by Glenford Myers, more of a training course kind of book, but very thorough and clear. And of course it refers to and relies on what Myers first wrote, so I would say it sort of proves that Myer's book is more important in the field.
