I believe that this book has a bit of value as a historical pieec for two reasons. Firstly, It seems to be the first book about the series. Secondly, back before the internet was what it is today, If a person was a fan of a show, but had only seen some of the episodes on the telly, couldn't access VHS tapes to complete their viewing experience, wanted to know which select tapes to buy if they could, or just wanted to know more.... they would turn to a book like this. It has straightforward synopses of the episodes, with little analysis. It also has interviews, which provide some deeper insight into the production.
